Falls under the 'why buy it when you can make it' category...

Homemade Citrus Cleaner

You can use any type of citrus fruit for this cleaning recipe. Simply stuff as many citrus rinds as you can into a mason jar, cover with vinegar, then plastic wrap (so the lid doesn't rust), put lid on and wait about a week (or longer...it really doesn't matter)

Strain when you are ready to use. Squeeze out the vinegar from the rinds.

Homemade Citrus Cleaner:

About 1 c of citrus vinegar
5-10 drops tea tree oil
1-2 tsp dish soap

Mix all ingredients in 16 oz squirt bottle and fill up with water. There you go!

Alright, I admit it...

I have been a tad bit grumpy of late. JUST A TAD. Who knows why. But there have been a few things that brighten my day, no matter what mood I'm in. Here's one of them. Red always makes me smile. If you listen closely, you can hear me wheezing because I'm laughing so freaking hard.

Chocolate bread

Yesterday I was thinking about how glad I am that I'm not gluten intolerant. If I was, I couldn't enjoy breads like these. Holy crap. This is delicious.

No...I didn't come up with this recipe, but next time I will try the following few modifications.
  • sub. 1/3 of the flour for rye flour
  • add more chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips
  • bake for a tad less time
  • perhaps add a sprinkle of sea salt to the top of one of the loaves? (yes, please)
