Ah, Paris. Your food has been divine...

Highlights: pistachio meringue cookie, cafe americanos, lemon macaroons, sourdough and brie from Polaine boulangerie, the best croissant from Yves Tourdic, the most delicious olive bread from Au Levain du Marias (that I will try like crazy to emulate when I return!!!)...

...these are just some of the reasons my pants are a lil' snug right now!

Food tour continues...

Yesterday I had my first croissant. What! I know...I really can't recall ever eating an entire croissant...

I've had bites, but never a whole one. And I'm glad that my first was here in Paris. It was well worth the wait.

I had six shots of espresso today. Not entirely on purpose...I was trying to order a large cup of coffee but instead I got 4 shots of coffee. Oops. So I had to balance that caffeine with:

1. Lots of walking and
2. Pastries....

Done and done!
